Accessibility at The Pint

Equal access, practical support and a venue experience that respects dignity and independence.

Commitment

The Pint Public House Toronto’s published policy commits to removing and preventing accessibility barriers and meeting its obligations under Ontario’s AODA, the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation and the Ontario Human Rights Code.

Customer service

Staff training covers accessible customer service, relevant accessibility standards and disability-related Human Rights Code responsibilities.

Accessible communication

Information can be provided in accessible formats or with communication supports on request. The team will consult with the person requesting support to determine a suitable format.

Assistive devices, service animals and support persons

Guests may use personal assistive devices. Service animals are welcomed in public guest areas where law permits them, and support persons may accompany guests.

Temporary disruptions

When accessible services or facilities are unexpectedly unavailable, notices will explain the disruption, expected duration and available alternatives where possible.
